HAIR & BEAUTY: What can beat up beauty

  • Written by Cara Barilla

Todays toxic filled society can unfortunately leave us with unhealthy hair, skin, internally and externally. The air, water and products which are easily exposed to at reach in 2017 are becoming more and more unhealthy. From beauty alternatives to the food we eat can cause stress, dryness and can eventually lead to serious negative habits and lifestyles.
Ways to demolish these negative additives in our daily life will aid in overall healthier skin, hair, nails and our blood cells.

Here are some negative sources which we should eliminate to improve on inner and outer beauty & health:

Botox:

Is a very toxic substance. Injecting poison into your body can only lead to negative results in the long run, not to mention addiction, paralysis in the face hence not being able to use all muscles in the face and the addiction to want more. This can break inner cells as well as your bank account. Negative habits like this can lead a high maintenance artificial life and toxic living.

Smoking:

This highly addictive behaviour can lead to cancer, throat issues and infections,  gingivitis, bad breath, wrinkles, damaged hair and premature baldness. It's best to steer away from this bad habit as it can affect your surroundings/ loved ones / pets and furniture.

Fast foods / processed foods:

Eating this unhealthy lifestyle can lead to premature baldness, dental issues and obesity. Consuming these products can definitely beat up beauty in a way that it's highly addictive, causes acne, diabetes and fatigue. Best to drop the low quality and pick up on a high quality lifestyle with fresh foods, water, tea, freshly squeezed juice and a healthy mind.

Hair irons and bleach :

this is toxic for your hair cuticles as it leads to damage, breakage, baldness and poor quality of hair porosity. After you wash your hair try to let your hair dry naturally, applying essential hair oils such as macadamia oil, Moroccan oil and coconut oil. Try to only lighten your hair with high lift tint or lemon juice instead.

Cheap chemicals in our beauty products:

Sometimes the best way to create a beauty pamper is to stick to natural sources. Visit your local supermarket and pick up a banana, avocado, honey and egg. Creating your own masks are essential for raw beauty filled ingredients. It's best to purchase vegan safe products and paraben, sulphite, alcohol and sulphate free products.

Soda / fizzy drinks:

Coca Cola, Fanta and other fizzy drinks are very high in sugar with little or no nutritional value. This can lead to dry skin, poor vision, fatigue, diabetes and cancer. Heal your way out of these bad habits by keeping fresh, drinking fresh juices ( not pre bottled) water, water, water, and caffeine free herbal teas. This routine will support better skin, hair, nails and your digestive system.

Sugar:

The foods and drinks we consume are so congested in artificial sweeteners, sugar substances and chemicals we've never heard of! It's best to refrain from bad foods and keep your diet as green, and fresh as possible. The less ingredients, the more predictable your body will be! Inside and out!

Materialism:

There are some battles with materialism in today's society which actually link to unhealthy mental health. Living beyond your means, spending on unnecessary items and obsessive false beauty in the brands we wear can lead to a very unhealthy, insecure, obsessive compulsive state which can be uncontrollable. This can also lead to stress, anger, wrinkles, the obsessive need to apply Botox and an unhealthy home life. Try to keep your habits clean, for a naturally beautiful outcome.
