Johnny Di Francesco, world champion pizzaiolo and owner of Melbourne’s Gradi Group of restaurants, is excited to announce he has been named official ambassador for Eat Street Melbourne 2018.
As Ambassador, Johnny is dedicated to helping a great cause, through great food - adding his world famous Italian cuisine to a delicious line up of restaurants. Bringing a little slice of Italy to Eat Street, 400 Gradi will be cooking on site, offering authentic and award-winning Italian dishes.
Johnny is thrilled to be part of this year’s event, and said, “Partnering with Eat Street is much more than just an ambassadorship. It’s a true honour to be part of Eat Street and to help shine a light on all of the wonderful work they do – not to mention it’s a great opportunity to eat some of the best food in Melbourne! I’m excited to introduce my authentic Italian food to Eat Street. It’s made to bring absolutely everyone and anyone together, sharing and making great memories together, which is a perfect match for the event!”
Eat Street, the longest running foodie event of its kind in Melbourne, gathers Victoria’s top wine and beverage providers all in one place, for a night of incredible food and entertainment.
This year’s event will raise much-needed funds for Variety - the Children's Charity, a national not-for-profit organisation, committed to changing the lives of children living with illness, disability or disadvantage.
Eat Street Melbourne kicks off 6pm Tuesday 29 May, at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. Tickets are $165 and can be purchased at: http://www.eatstreetmelbourne.com
