Best Coast: why you should definitely tour the Sunshine Coast

  • Written by NewsServices.com

The Sunshine Coast is a dream destination. Away from Brisbane’s hustle and the Gold Coast’s glam, this gorgeous stretch of coastline is home to some of Australia’s most idyllic beaches and lush hinterland. It should come as no surprise that the region is perfect for touring, as it has so many places worth spending the day!  Whether you’re after a chartered seniors tour, a girls day out or, you’re visiting the Sunshine Coast with Kids, there’s plenty to see, do and dive into!

With this in mind, here are a few reasons why you should definitely tour this iconic regiont:

  1. Stunning beaches

The best bus charter Sunshine Coast has will take you to Australia’s most sublime swimming spots. This region’s beaches encapsulate everything Australian beaches are famous for: cobalt waters, soft sands and tropical backdrops. From the pristine Kings Beach to the gorgeous Noosa Main Beach, you can easily find yourself lazily drifting through the day as you kick back and enjoy the wonderful Queensland sunshine!

  1. Incredible hinterlands

But it’s not just the beaches that make this coastal stretch one of Australia’s natural wonders - it’s the hinterlands, too! Yes, the area is home to some of the country’s most explorable mountain ranges, with the Hinterland region being home to some truly charming country towns, inspiring nature walks, flowing waterfalls and more.

  1. But don’t forget the Everglades

What? Everglades? In Australia? Yes! Florida isn’t the only place that boasts them, and in fact it is one of only two places in the world that has an everglade system, alongside our very own Sunny Coast! And, just like its more-famous Floridian counterpart, it is a wonderful place to experience some of the country’s unique flora and fauna by boat or kayak. Be sure to traverse the River of Mirrors, known as such for its perfect reflection of the Queensand sky.

  1. It is an artistic hub

The whole region is known for its vibrant art and cultural scene. This makes perfect sense, as absolutely anywhere with such abundant natural beauty is going to draw in creative types from across the world. The area boasts its very own artistic trail, one in which you can visit a plethora of exhibitions and galleries comprising works from local artists!

  1. It’s festival central

Carrying on from that last point, you can trust that there are going to be a few fun festivals to enjoy, too! The region plays host to a wonderful range of cultural and music festivals, with the likes of the Big Pineapple Music Festival, Caloundra Music Festival and the Maroochy Music and Arts Festival. What’s more, you can also find fantastic sporting events occurring at all times of the year, further completing your fun-filled itinerary in this wondrous stretch!

  1. The markets

The Eumundi Markets are some of Australia’s most invigorating, with aisles of stalls selling everything from delectable food to local art, clothing and jewellery. If you’re looking for the perfect place to vibe up your afternoon - this is it. If you’re looking for a more produce-centric place to grab some goodies, the Noosa Farmers Market is a mainstay for providing top quality local goodies.

  1. It’s just the perfect place to unwind

So, if you’re looking for a place that provides endless sunshine, picture-perfect beaches and a laid-back vibe that can’t be encroached upon, this is your go-to location. Whatever draws you there is sure to invigorate your senses and bestow you with a sense of ease - it’s what makes the region one of Australia’s most desired for people looking to truly unwind!
