ROYAL OPERA HOUSE’S RIGOLETTO ON THE BIG SCREEN

Returning in 2018, Event & Village Cinemas in partnership with Trafalgar Releasing will exclusively screen Rigoletto this February at 17 cinemas as part of the Royal Opera House 2017/18 Live Cinema Season.
Featuring filmed performances from the world-renowned Royal Opera House in London, the program presents the very best opera and ballet from the iconic venue, captured in jaw-dropping detail for Australian audiences to enjoy as if they were there themselves.
David McVicar’s acclaimed production of Verdi’s tragic opera Rigoletto (10, 11 and 14 February). This potent tragedy of cursed court jester Rigoletto, his daughter Gilda and the Duke of Mantua will star Dimitri Platanias, Lucy Crowe and Michael Fabiano.
