Seasonal health retreat in a box

A seasonal reminder to slow down can help manage anxiety and stress in Australian women.

It’s back to work and back to the daily grind. Well-being expert, Holistic Nutritionist and Personal Trainer, Kate Williams, urges us to recognise when we start to feel snappy, irritable and short. When the stress of day-to-day life starts to rear its head, instead of just pushing on, Kate recommends stopping and refilling our cups.
Kate is the mastermind behind the successful seasonal Retreat Yourself Health & Wellness Box which allows women to experience the three Rs - relax, refresh, renew - with a DIY ‘at home’ retreat.

The light bulb moment for Kate was when she was working in the corporate world.

Kate states: “I was soon awoken to the amount of stressed out, overworked and unfulfilled people who were wishing their days away waiting for the next holiday and ultimately happiness. I couldn’t understand why people couldn’t just take small steps to reconnect and enjoy their daily lives, instead of burning out, being frustrated and ultimately unhappy – leading them to NEEDING (not just wanting) a ‘vacation’ away from their everyday life. Life is something that’s happening something right here and now, not something that’s off in the future. It’s not something we can spend time waiting for while our days are wished away. I understand that many people work full-time jobs, have kids or feel like they can’t afford the ‘luxury’ of going on a holiday to reconnect with number 1.”

Kate adds: “So, Retreat Yourself was created, so that every one of us can afford to experience the benefits of going on a health retreat, without having to go anywhere. To remind people like you and me to just CHILL - to take a moment to enjoy the simple things. It was created to deliver a slice of retreat to your door, to remind you to slow down and reconnect. So… that you can actually enjoy your life in between your holidays. It was created to help you fill your cup so your loved ones can benefit from the overflow. You simply cannot serve from an empty vessel.”

Australian wellness and health related brands have collaborated with Kate to bring together the best emerging health and wellness products to improve the health of Australian women. The box also includes an inspirational magazine filled with tips from Australian wellness experts and also the Retreat Yourself Experience - a step-by-step wellbeing retreat guide.

The boxes are seasonal with box release dates in March, June, September and December to customers Australia-wide. RRP: from $49.95 plus shipping.
