It is known for its magnificent dome and the intricate marble decorations on its façade.

Inside, the cathedral features an impressive array of frescoes, sculptures, and other artworks that vividly represent the Italian Renaissance era. Its interior is filled with numerous chapels, each with its own unique décor. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta also houses a great number of religious relics and artifacts.

Built-in the Pisan Romanesque style, it has been standing since the 11th century and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Despite its age, this church still stands as a symbol of strength and resilience. Its impressive architecture has attracted tourists from all over the world to come to visit and admire its beauty.

The inside interior is adorned with intricate designs and stunning artwork.
