Mums and daughters #twinning in new activewear range that encourages healthy body image im women and girls

Young girls can now follow their mum’s lead and embrace the activewear trend in matching tights from Australian size-inclusive activewear label Active Truth. The range is inspired by fun, active play between mums and their daughters.

The new range was launched by personality Sophie Cachia “The Young Mummy” and her daughter, Florence, whose loyal social media following of 234 thousand fans are drawn to her honesty and relatability as she shares her motherhood journey.

Sophie says, “I fell in love with the Active Truth brand during my pregnancy with my daughter whereby I was introduced to a size-inclusive brand that provided high quality (and not see through, eeeek!) active leggings for maternity and everyday wear. I too loved this brand whilst my body recovered from her pregnancy and birth, and now the fact that the new Mummy & Me range allows me to share & match styles with my daughter is so beautiful,” Sophie said.

“I'm extremely passionate about brands that empower women and that encourage us to embrace our unique bodies and shapes, and a brand like Active Truth that caters for women from size 8 to 26, does exactly that.”

It was clear when the Mama + Me collection launched last night that Sophie's Facebook and Instagram followers love them as much as she does.

Active Truth’s Co- founder Nadia Tucker states: "The collection is about inspiring young girls to have fun being active from an early age and to keep playing — whatever their activity preference."

“Mums and daughters are embracing the current twinning fashion trend that’s taken over social media. Girls will love wearing the same tights as their mum, who is one of their primary wellness role models at that age, and being active together”

Co-founder, Stevie Angel, adds:
“Children pick up on how their mums feel about their bodies.  Love and embrace your body, and look after it every day by prioritising your health and wellbeing. Look for ways of being active together as a family”.

The range has something for everyone with a pretty, pink floral print and an edgier neutral animal print. Each print is available in tights for kids, and tights and crops for adults.

The ‘Mama and Me’ collection is available in sizes 2-8 (girls) and S-3XL (womens).

Items are sold separately from $39.99 at www.activetruth.com.au
