Wedding day is the day we all dream about and want it to be perfect in every possible way, a wedding day is not only a day but it is the beginning of a new life with our partners. However, it needs a lot of patience to execute the plan according to our choice.

The most important thing which would impact everything is the “VENUE”. If you choose the right venue for your wedding then everything will align in a perfect direction. Pros:

  2. Everything would be managed by the hotel, you don’t have to worry about tables and chairs

  3. Rooms are available so you can book your room and get ready

  4. If your guests are coming from far away like another city or country they can get a room and stay there

  5. You would not be worried about weather conditions as the venue would be fully covered according to the weather (Air-conditioned in summers and heated in winter).

  6. Food would be provided by hotels (They usually have a caterer hired).

Cons:

  1. Hotels are busy as they are a popular venue so you have to book it earlier

  2. It is an expensive option as everything would be charged

  3. There are some hidden charges of hotels which you would have to bear

  4. You have to hire hotel caterer, musician, and florist as per their policy

  5. You have to follow their policies and guidelines

  6. They will charge at a per person rate

  7. They have a limited number of chairs and tables available

  1. Beaches :

If you love natural beauty, beaches are surely going to attract you. Serene view and classic environment, which is totally unmatched. Beach weddings are memorable and romantic.

Pros:

  1. Classic view and ambiance. This can be enjoyed by everyone

  2. You have a chance to design every aspect of your wedding

  3. The flexibility of the environment, no restrictions at all

  4. You can do everything as per your budget

  5. Informal attire. Can dress casually according to your taste

  6. You can capture amazing photographs because of the sunlight

Cons:

  1. Beaches are locations that can be accessed by everyone so there would be no privacy

  2. Unwanted people will be there which causes annoyance to many

  3. You have to take care of the weather conditions as speedy winds and drizzles can cause disturbances. It can destroy the whole wedding

  4. You have to manage all the tables and chairs and bring them along with you

  5. If you want to do a reception at the beach you have to hire the services of some event management company as it would be difficult to manage food at the beach. Because we all want hot food to be served to our guests.

  1. Gardens:

Another favorite location for many people who love nature has to be the garden. Garden wedding venues are quite popular around the world.

Pros:

  1. Enough space to facilitate a large number of guests within a wedding marquee.

  2. You can hire your team of professionals according to your choice

  3. Good for photographs because of the sunlight

  4. Flexible timing for guests

  5. Guests can roam around easily

  6. You can have your food setup

  7. The garden has a beautiful location as it has grass and flowers

Cons:

  1. Before planning a wedding you have to keep weather conditions in mind

  2. It can be accessed by the general public so no privacy and some outsiders can come and disturb your guests. Even steal some valuables

  3. Garden setup is expensive as you have to pay for tables, chairs and per person for event planners

  4. Flies and insects can cause you trouble

  1. Backyards :

If you are on a budget and want to arrange a wedding then the backyard is a good option for you, the backyard is always a comfortable venue for those who don’t want to invest in lavish weddings.

  1. You can choose whatever you want to, you can give it a personalized touch and design it according to your preferences

  2. You can save a lot of money as it’s your own backyard

  3. You can prepare the location according to your own schedule

  4. You can simply take care of each and everything

  5. The guest feel comfortable and relaxed

Cons:

  1. Tables, chairs, and décor all would be taken on rent

  2. You have to limit your number of guests as per the availability of space

  3. Unless you are an event management professional you have to hire an event management team for décor

  4. As it is going to be your house and it is a residential area you have to take care of the noise and parking required for guests

  5. You have to get ready early as guests might show up early at home

  6. Guests might roam around in your house which causes annoyance to you

  1. Museums:

Many people don’t consider the museum for their wedding venue. If you are more into history and fond of old architecture then museums are for you.

Pros:

  1. Great architecture which gives a wedding a royal touch

  2. It is a less common venue so it would be interesting for guests

  3. Good for pictures

  4. You and your guest can choose a theme related to the museum it would give your wedding a quite historical touch

  5. Budget-friendly as museums are cost-friendly, for small events they do have packages

Cons:

  1. Small space so you have to limit your guests

  2. It’s a public place so people can invade privacy

  3. You have to do reception somewhere else as food is not allowed at museums

  4. Have to do all the arrangements for the wedding by yourself

  5. You can’t do much change in décor

  6. Museums carry historical artifacts that require special consideration and should not be damaged by anyone

A wedding day is the most important day of your life, you have to do a lot of planning before the execution. Your whole set up depends upon your budget and the number of guests.
